Alex is an outstanding representative of the up and coming generation of young Romanian basketball players, with already very considerable international experience under her belt. She is a dynamic, athletic small forward, who poses a constant threat to the opposition, both in attack and defense. Alex is also a basketball player of intelligence, capable of taking control and running the plays outside the perimeter.
Alex declined to extend her contract with ICIM Arad beyond the end of the 2007-2008 season and, as a consequence, was allowed very limited court time by the club. Nonetheless, keen observers of Europe's young talent are fully aware of her capacity to perform, both at junior international and at senior club levels.. She is an ever-present in Romania's national teams and has been so since 2004.
With Romania now in the European Union, thus Alex benefiting from a Bosman A classification and in 2008-2009 she will continue her career with Herzogenburg in Austria.
