April is a highly regarded team contributor within the tough Australian Basketball Association (ABA) environment and is known in the league for her

uncompromising defense. She is hard working, quick and athletic and able to perform under pressure. April, a young player, is on the fringes of a WNBL career in Australia, but is opting, instead, for a career in Europe. Being of Bosman A status through her status as a British citizen, should be of significant advantage to her.

Outside sport April has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Economics and Marketing) from Monash University in Melbourne and

has worked for 18 months in the Government of Victoria's Treasury, Finance and Procurement Department.

April is a member of one of Australia's basketball dynasties. Her brother brother Wade is a member of the Australian national team's roster and is based in Italy, playing for Lottomatica Roma.
