PERSONAL: Full name is Gennifer Marie Bridges ... born Oct. 28, 1981 ... majored in criminal justice ... parents are Betty and Wayne Bridges ... has two older siblings, Anthony and Felicia.
Gennifer Bridges was a standout on the two European tours undertaken by the USA Elite select squad. On both tours the American team played a series of matches against First Division professional clubs in Hungary and Slovalkia, including Euroleague opponents, such as Pécs and Sopron, and Central European Women's League outfit Nitra.

At the 2008 Bonyhád Cup in Hungary, Gennifer matched up against three professional clubs and was tournament top scorer, sinking 22 against twice Euroleague Final Four participants Pécs.

She is a robust, physical "big", but with an uncannily accurate,  gentle touch when shooting. Fast for her size and bulk, Genn is a worthwhile option for any team looking to gain baskets, rebounds and an extra edge in physical defense.
